About Christine Dawood
About the Founder
My name is Christine Dawood, and I am the founder of Pathway of Light, a movement born from my walk across the UK to honour the memory of my late son and husband. Blending personal grief, the healing power of nature, and a deep belief in human resilience, I aim to encourage audiences around the world with my story. I speak and write about how to keep walking when everything stops, helping others find courage, connection, and purpose. My work is an invitation to reclaim light, one step at a time, and to remind us that we are never meant to walk alone.
About Pathway of Light
In the summer of 2025, I walked over from Hampton Court to Glasgow to honour the memory of my son and husband — a dream we once shared, and a promise I chose to keep.
That walk carried me through grief, through nature, and back to myself. It showed me how movement can heal, how connection sustains us, and how even in darkness, we can find our way toward light.
Now I aim to help others discover their own pathways — through walking, community, and stories of resilience.
The Mission
Pathway of Light exists to help people move through loss, activate resilience and find new meaning, through walking, conversations, and shared experiences.
Together we create spaces for reflection and connection; on the road, in nature, in community, and in story.
Together, we keep walking
at a time.
